I have had this Proscan TV for about 2 yrs..came home the other day,,,and could not turn the TV on..did not see any power light come on...is there anything I can do to fix this..or should I just buy a not-so-cheap brand TV next time?

Unless a set is an international piece of crap, you'll never be able to predict if it'll last for a year or ten. If you don't have the budget and MUST HAVE TV NOW, go buy a cheap TV. Think where you might want your second TV to be and buy that one.

This will give you a) a TV, b) motivation to get a better TV, and c) time to collect four bucks a week to pay for it. You don't have to save found bucks per week, but once you think about it, you can decide how much to save.

If your small piece of crap lasts for ten years, well, that would be a bonus.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
