I have a motorized projection screen i purchased from ebay a few years ago. It came with a 3 button rf remote, and a control that is wired into the power cord to be wall mounted.

The hardwired control works fine, but the remote has stopped working. It still lights up when you press the buttons, but i am not sure if it is sending a signal, or if the receiver is the problem.

I have been unable to locate the remote online to purchase another, nor do i know what frequency it is using.

Any tips on where i should go from here? a place i could find another remote, a way to find the frequency, receiver troubleshooting? I don't know which way to go on this.

The screen is 120 inch richvision, and the remote is a 3 button remote with Pioneer on it. it has a up arrow, a stop button, and a down arrow. black in color. no model number or anything.

I appriciate any help you could offer.
Thanks

Thanks for the links!

I couldn't open the file in the second link, its a .css file and i am not sure what program will open it, i don't think it will help me anyway, because it says IR and my remote has no IRs on it, defenetly RF.

but the first link was very interesting. i don't know how you found that, i have been searching and couldn't find anything except mentions in blogs and forums.

i don't see the remote i have, but they have some that look very similar, maybe one of those will work.

At least i have something to go on now. I think i will email them and see if i can get anything resolved that way, i'm guessing their will be a comunication gap since the website is Chinese. But worth a try.

Thanks for the help.

It is a CCF file that contains Pronto IR hex codes that can be used with PC programable remotes. I just thought you may have one and the screen may have had an IR receiver too.

I found the link in a forum.

Did you have a look in the battery compartment, under the batteries or the underside of the lid to see if it had a model number?
