I use S video cable to connect my SONY TV XBR (KV-36XBR400) and a laptop. The screen on TV is blurring. The resolution 800x600 is better than 1024x768 but still not good. Any suggestion? Thanks.

TVs are not meant to be monitors. Even a 1080p TV will not look that great as a monitor. Not to mention the fact that you're using s-video from the source

Instead of the S-Video cable, use the same cable you'd use to connect a monitor to a desk-top computer (VGA or DVI). I have mine set to a resolution of 1360 by 768 using an old Raedon 8500 video card. It looks great on my 40 inch Toshiba TV.
