So ive only done a few systems, but seem to have to use system builder to get the remote functional every time. Exmple: my showroom the power on/off macros didnt work properly from composer. First job i did the ability to make your own channel macros didnt work right without some tweaking. This last job Im still trying to figure out why I cant get the channel macro pages to give me any of the channel icons, they are all blank and when i go to add the graphic onto a button from the PTX3 it shows a bunch of blank buttons to choose from...

Am I the only one finding little errors in all of the composer programs?

On the Dynamic Preset extender you have to choose your region for it to generate the graphics. Did you try scolling down? Sometimes there just isn't any on the first page.

Even when I have cable I tell the system I have directv because it provide far more graphics. Each channel has to be edited, but better then edited the channel and name and not having a graphic.

I use SB on every project, I burn through composer quickly to get the blunt work done.

What was the issue with your power on/off? The system does use flags basically to track, so if something got out of sync, it wouldn't be put back.

The best way that I have found to deal with Prodigy IF you are using System Builder is to not use composer. Build the project without composer and add your own Logic instead of letting SYstem Builder generate the logic. Doing it this way you create all the macros yourself.
If you are using Composer try and figure out how the Two Zone Volume Extender works. It is basically an Interlock like in Simpl. For example, when you select a source(DVD), you could then go to programming view look under Two Zone Volume Extender and under Events look for something like: ON Source DVD Selected FB. Enter your Macro there.
