i have a system with 3 Serial Devices (well, 4- but the 4th one we are going to control over IP)

i know that the IR ports can be used for one way serial control.
what do we need and can we make it our selves ?

Nothing is needed, just set that ir port up for one way serial and use the mini plug from one of the ir's. white strip wire is tx and black is signal gnd. If you need more two way serials, Elk and Lantronics makes ip to serial modules that work really good.

Im not a fan of SB, I do it in simpl. You could build the project in SB with a ir Driver and then edit it in simpl to a one way serial.
