Anybody add a security system into a Prodigy system? I have a customer who wants to add security into a Prodigy system. Just wondering what you guys are using. I see the Sequel Technologies route didn't pan out to well because they are out of buisness.

I have done GE (NX8E), Honeywell (Honeywell 128BPE), HAI (omni Pro II) and Elk (m1G) with no issues. You have to do the programming in simple, but there are modules for all of these brands.

DSC is another good choice. I also have an HAI module that is SB-compatible, and it shouldn't be difficult to modify the GE or Elk modules.

Ive started playing with a HAI module that is listed on HAI's website. it was pretty limited in the lighting so i contected the person who made it and he gave me some free modules to supliment it and would charge me for any additions i need.
I'm still writing the program though on my downtime so cant say if it works well yet.
also isnt it DSC who makes a security system that is DESIGNED FOR PRODIGY! even has a prodigy based part number and is listed on crestons site..

No that was sequel technologies and they went out of business. the elk m1 gold works really good and is done over tcp/ip also like the sequel panel did.
