Having a ton of trouble with programming on a Windows 7 / 64-bit laptop. Anybody have similar issues? Works better using XP emulator, but network problems stem from that. Can anyone provide some insight or similar experience?

I concur. A guy next to me at Crestron traiing was using 64 bit Vista and it works fine. Yet I clearly have compatability problems with 7-64. It may hae something to do with framework. Unsure right now. HOpefully someone with 7-64 will step up and say they have problems (or not.) Thanks for the response.

I think I remember reading somewhere on IP that someone was using 7-64 with the full Crestron suite w/o any problems.

* UPDATE *

The problem is not with W7 64 bit, its a potential feature of W7 64bit. When running programs in compatibility mode, the OS creates an Program Files x86 in c:/. For some reason the Crestron master installer has trouble with this and a series of problems occur. I don't know much more about the specifics, but will post here when I do.

I'm running Win7/64-bit with the Master Inataller. It installs into the Program Files (x86) directory, as all 32-bit programs should, and has had no issues.

Thank you,
Damon
