Folks, please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong forum. First off, I am a user, not a professional in the control/AV business.

I am a software engineer building a house, and my whole house audio system will be a set of Chromecast Audio devices each feeding a a pair of stereo channels of some Crestron 16x60 multichannel amplifiers. These amps are really amazing and available at pretty low prices.

The Chromecast audios can be control from phones and tablets for browsing content and controlling playback and volume, which makes for a nice keypadless system, and can also be controlled by voice through a set of Google home devices.

As you know, the amps can be used without a Crestron system by keeping the override button pushed in or soldering a couple contacts inside the amplifier. This works fine, but it requires

My home automation system (homeseer) can tell the status of each chromecast, including whether it is active or not, and I can use that to set a relay to take the amp out of standby. I can also do things like send an IR code, or write something to a serial port, etc...

Since MC3s and other controllers are also available inexpensively, I was wondering about making the control of the zones even more efficient by having a controller respond to a set of serial or IR commands that would allow for more precise zone on/off commands.

I know the Crestron programming environment is proprietary, and I am NOT trying to get anyone to give me the software. But I was wondering what the cost would be for someone to program an MC3 or other hardware for the sole purpose of zone control for a set of these amps all wired to a controller. I am not looking for a complete Crestron setup etc.., since this relatively simple functionality.

If this is possible to do, about what would that cost be? I am in the SF Bay Area, but I assume this could be done remotely from anywhere.

OTOH, if this sort of thing is not allowed or wouldn't work, please accept my apologies for troubling people on the forum.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
