Anyone know when Crestron will have the Sonos integration available for the Pyng System? I know the latest x60 touch panels are now compatible with Pyng, just wondering when they will add the Sonos integration.

The 50 series have been Pyng compatible for some time now.

Haven't heard when release will be for the Sonos module for Pyng.

I knew about the x50 panels, however the x60 panels have the native Sonos app built into them. It's just a matter of how to trigger it with Pyng.

FYI, Pyng has advantages, but also many limitations (hence this thread). If the system hasn't been completed, or started, it may be worthwhile to explore having it programmed conventionally, i.e., without Pyng. The difference in cost might not be significant, especially when the benefits are considered.

Yes we realize this. The Pyng system is only for distributed audio and they are only connecting two zones at this time. We priced Sonos as well and the home owner chose Pyng for possible future lighting integration.

The cost difference between processors and the ease of installation/setup for this system doesn't warrant the price jump to an RMC3, MC3, or CP3 processor.
