Doing a boathouse with centralized lighting. There are 6 light groups and will be controlling with a DIN-AP3. What do your customers or you prefer in terms of the number of buttons on the keypad. Do you like individual buttons for each load or do you prefer to give them a keypad with less buttons and strictly lighting scenes?

Really depends on the customer. I usually do so rudimentary programming and let them get used to it for a bit and then work with them on what they'd like to see. I usually always start with the 7 button layout and fine tune after. I find by letting them live with the system for a couple weeks, I'm doing less reprogramming.

I like the Cameo P series over the E series. The P series has back lighting which is great at night with engravings, the E series does not.

DITTO.

Best to start out basic and let the clients get used to it, then come back and do a rev to get it EXACTLY where they want it.

Unless it is a simple single load, which I program like a standard toggle switch, I tend to use all the buttons on a cameo.

I'll throw a Goodnight, Good morning, and Away scene in the bedrooms and by the front door...though I don't know if that helps with a boathouse. I guess you can do a Boathouse off by the entrance.
