Hello!

I need some how to's on programming an MLX-3 in SIMPL. I am newer to SIMPL and need to program all of the features of this home theater system (A projector, receiver, Apple TV, Roku, Blu-Ray, and Cable). Very small system! I have programmed all of the text and pages in VisionTools Pro, but have only programmed Volume Up, Down, and Mute in SIMPL haha!

I just need help on how to connect everything together with this controller in SIMPL! Really appreciate your help!

Download the demo programs off the Crestron site. Best way to learn.

For every page you created in VTPro you need to add those pages to Simpl.

Buffers and interlocks will become your friend since you are dealing with a device that has specific joins/buttons.

ENSURE you place a System Power OFF option on either the source select screen or each source screen as your power button on the top will break.

This saves having to reprogram the system after the fact because of a shoddy manufacturing design. I have done this on ALL my MLX-3 remotes as the home owners were tired of seeing my face for the same repair issue. They just ignore that the button even exists, and you should program this the same way.
You can't fix stupid
