I have posted to even give this thing away, but it is apparently of no interest out there.

Does anyone know if there is stand alone software still available to let me use this thing just for testing etc?

I think it was a laptop operation, but it has been many years since I was a dealer for this make, it may have been only usable on one of their processors.

CNLXIR, Ser # either ZA11135 or C284640, can't tell which is the SN.

9 pin ser. to computer, 4-pin jack with 5V, +S, -S, and G. IR out mini RCA, probably 2 cond.

I think you can still get DEAL off of the ftp site, as far as if it works with a 64bit OS or anything past XP IDK

Still usable as far as I know, but the replacement is inexpensive, USB, and about the size of a thumb drive rather than half rack, so it's kind of "why bother?"

FYI, there are rare occasions where the new USB learner can't properly capture codes, but the old CNXLIR will. I still keep one around for just that reason.

I still have one or two laying around as well. Also have most other brands ir learners too...RTI, Speakercraft, Elan, Nuvo, niles, an old pronto or two, and a couple others.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
