Can anybody send me the software to Prodigy? I know that Creston does not like giving their software out to end users but I thought that because they have discontinued it they would not be so harsh about it. I am a junior in high school and I want to learn how to program and I have heard how easy Crestron Prodigy Composeris to learn on and I have spent HOURS going over how to videos and literally EVERY manual possible for Prodigy! I hope someone can help!

Prodigy Composer is a wizard type system. There is absolutely zero programming involved.

Why would you want to learn how to program something that is obsolete?

'Programming' Crestron is NOTHING like C/Java/Pearl/Python.

You would be better off learning one of those languages.

Your HS I would hope has a CS class that would be a WHOLE lot better for you in the long run.

If they don't and you want to learn something that will be useful in the long run and give you some basics check this out

That is a more grownup version of the Lego mindstorms. It uses a modified version of C++ and I think the software is free.

That controller is powerful enough to turn a Power Wheels into an Autonomous Ground Vehicle, or make a lego robot car that can follow a wall.
