I have a number of roller blinds that have IR remotes. Part of the set up of the blind is to pair the remote with the blind. You do this by selecting 1-8 on the remote and setting on the blind controller.

I have learnt the ir commands on my IR Learner, however, when I test the command I do not get a response from the blind.

Is this because of the pairing?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

How are you sending the ir command to the blinds? You've run cable from the processor up to the blinds?

so you pair by pressing & holding 1-N, then to control that shade you press 1-N and then O/C/S?

If so then when you learn the codes you have to learn O/C/S for 1-N.

So Press 1, learn O/C/S.

Press 2, learn O/C/S.

...

Press N, learn O/C/S.

Upon further testing of this today I am beginning to think that the issue is with the blind itself.

As per the earlier thread I have learnt the commands using my CNXLIR. When I press any button on the hand held remote a lights flashes on the blind to acknowledge the press. When I test the IR code from the CNXLIR with the ir blaster connected to the CNXLIR I do not get any light flash on the blind. I have tried to ir blaster in many different positions.

Is there any other reason why the blind is not seeing the ir code from the CNXLIR?
