We are doing an install with the new TPMC-4SM touchpanels. I need a 12 port poe switch. Do you use the Crestron switches or do you use 3rd party switches, to save the client some $$$ ? If so, which brands have you had success with?

in my experiance, a POE is a POE. Crestron is just way overpriced for one... Any POE will work. your price will go up if you want a gigabit switch... but if you dont need the speed to those devices, heres a TRENDnet one I just found, its a 24 port POE switch, with 4 gigabit outputs

You have to make sure that the POE that you use can output the same or more amperage as the Crestron device some POE's wont put out the current that the device will draw.
