Has anyone stumbled across TCP/IP, CEC, bluetooth or USB control for these devices? I have the scmartz kit but I have not hooked it up yet.

Been using bluetooth on a PS3 for years.

Try this new thing called "Google" I hear it's awesome.

I found that CEC control will work on the PS4, but not the PS3.

CEC worked fine on my PS3. Used it for years.

The Schmartz piece works great on the PS3, it isn't compatible with the PS4. Don't think there is any Bluetooth adaptor for the PS4 as of yet that I have heard about anyways.
You can't fix stupid

AFAIK, the following methods can be used for 3rd-party control of Sony's PlayStation 4:

- HDMI: CEC control can be used with PS4
- Bluetooth: Open a HCI connection to the PS4 from the MAC address of a previously paired DualShock controller
- TCP/IP: Remote Play protocol on TCP port 987 (see [Link: npmjs.com]), requires smartphone Playstation App to setup credentials

I'm currently using Logitech Bluetooth2IR for Playstation 3.

Perfect if you want to use the blu-ray player from a Crestron panel or iPad.

MSG me if you would like the Crestron IR driver.
