How in the world do you add these Crestron modules that you find on the net? I have the following files:

XXX.umc
XXX.ush
XXX.usp

I put the XXX.umc into my user module folder (defined in Simpl Editor)

I also put XXX.ush and XXX.usp into my Simpl+ module folder

but when I try to compile I get:

Check location in User SIMPL+ or program folder, or recompile the associated .USP file.

Can someone help me out and tell me where to put these files please?

Thank you

Eric

You need to open up the .usp file in SIMPL+ and recompile. I've run into this a few times in the past and this always fixed the issue. When you recompile the .usp, it will create the proper .ush file.

thank you for the response... where do you usually put your files? I recompiled and it is still giving me the error. I am not sure if I am placing this in the correct folder.

.umc in the Usrmacro folder along with any help pdf.

.ush and .usp in the Usrsplus folder.

You can change the folders and their location from within SIMPL.
