Good morning all, I work for a local college and I am an A+ crestron partner, I have been to one of the crestron training sessions and plan on going for more. I am building a new classroom an would like to use a rs232 connection as opposed to an IR connection to control the projector in the room, for real time feedback. Studio does not offer any rs232 drivers at least not that I can find. I know one can be created but I do not have that knowledge yet. Does anyone know where I can obtain a driver/ modual that can be used in studio? Any help would be appropriated.

What is the model number of the projector.

More importantly, why are you using Studio? Crestron will even tell you it's not ready for prime time. SIMPL is the answer.

For the most part all of the projectors will be Hitachi (CP-X3030, CP-X809).
Studio is not ready? That's what I have been using for the most part. I have used it on a couple of projects, around school. It has plenty of the IR drivers, and I can create the ones they don't have. I would just like the real time feed back of a serial driver. I have only been able to get to one class thus far and while we did cover simple, I have not been able to use it enough to retain what I was taught.

I use studio to build my own Smart Graphics themes but it's just not complete period. Does it have any Hitachi RS232 modules? If it does, give them a shot. Manufactures aren't changing their RS232 very often. In SIMPL I see 5 different RS232 modules for Hitachi.
