I'm new to post here, been using RC for other remote systems for a while

I just want to say first off, this is a personal setup/test Crestron AV2 system (not trying to sell or deploy elsewhere). I had some equipment thru a crestron tech, who is no longer reachable (or seemingly in the industry). He had left code and software for what was done. I'm trying to add a MLX 3 remote as test project (yes I know this doesnt sound good to true crestron techs). I know I dont have access to the crestron dealers website, nor am I looking for direct access! I'm looking either for help or to hire a crestron tech to add the remote to my setup where I can take it from there in MY TEST system.

My issue is, when I try to acquire the MLX-3 remote to the cen-rfgw-ex, it says it acquired, status says it is connected, program not, then after about 20 seconds, it says acquire failed. In the meantime, the acquire screen from the toolbox never shows the remote. Firmware on the cen-rfgw-ex is 1.003.0010 (toolbox is looking for 1.003.0018, but don’t know if that is the correct firmware for the MLX-3?) MLX-3 panel version is: 1.1576.15333, bootloader is 1.00000.104.

Sounds like the firmware in the gateway needs to be updated. We do a lot of the MLX3 and haven't experienced any issues acquiring.

MLX3 wasn't supported until the 2.001.xx release of the RFGW firmware
