Installing a complete home integration with Crestron - all A/V needs as wells other controls.

We are looking for a Media Server that has similar capabilities as Crestron's ADMS-G2 Intermedia Delivery System.

We would have utilized Crestron's ADMS-G2 as it offers all the features we are looking for but for the fact that is single user ONLY!! It appears that if one user is accessing the ADMS to play a song or music, for example, then no one else can access it to play an alternative song or etc..

So we are looking for a Media Server that has similar capabilities as the ADMS-G2 but is multi-user capable (must be able to integrate with Creston). Any recommendations?  Thanks

I don't think that's accurate, I believe the ADMS offers two audio zones in addition to the theater zone...all of which can be operated independently.
[Link: bit.ly] - see Music Access and Pandora headings halfway down the page.

I still think this box is way overpriced, and was not impressed enough by the two we sold to recommend it. Still waiting for Crestron to push out the media player they announced way back at CEDIA...NSP-1 maybe? Which has apparently completely disappeared from their site.

Have you considered a Kaleidescape based system? Far better server platform but it does not offer all of the other gitty-up that is offered by the ADMS...Pandora, and other streaming features. The new System One is a pretty nice server package but is somewhat limited as to additional zones and expansion capabilities, however.

Adding an Apple/Roku based Streaming device can provide allo of those other features for next to nothing. Additionally, most TV's and BluRay players have some of these very same streaming features.

I've really been wanting to get my hands on one of the smaller Fusion Research Ovation products...$500 (retail) for a box that appears to do everything you could ask with two-way feedback...just want to see how well its actually implemented, and how stable it is. [Link: fusionrd.com]

The CEN-NSP-1 is shipping from Crestron, but doesn't yet support streaming services etc...the '-1' suffix makes me hope they plan on a rack-mount '-3' model, allowing for multiple users in 1 box.
