We purchased our home with an existing Crestron System installed. The installer who originally installed the system has been back several times to work on the remote control's volume buttons. The volume buttons will work for a short period of time and then stop working.

We are not able to contact the installer and are unable to watch TV because the sound is so loud. Any suggestions for fixing the remote control? is there a way to manually control the volume from a different controller?

We are not technically savvy in these matters. Would appreciate your help!

Thank You!

Sorry to hear that the original programmer sucks. Where are you located and do you have copies of the original program? Will they give them to you if you don't already have them?

Volume control is usually very straight forward. That is an old controller, could the hardware be failing?

kgossen, Thanks for your response. We are located in the Washington DC area. I could certainly try to get a copy of the original program.

If you can't, then the entire program needs to be redone from scratch.
