Hi there,

i setup the system regarding the manuals.

Router -> added ports
cp3 -> via DHCP
-> uploaded the project and i can see it in the toolbox as web project!
ipad4 -> via DHCP

in the mobile pro g app -> use local files "no" and i allways get the error "platform not supported - the selected project is not supported on this platform"

when i directly upload the project to the ipad via toolbox and set use local files "yes" it starts normaly. but i really need this to work via web projects.

any ideas?

CP3 should have static IP like everything on the local network.

What DNS service are you using to to login from outside the network.

What ports have you opened on the router?

"platform not supported" hints towards a mismatch of project symbol types (which version of mobile is in your Simpl Windows program?).

Also, kgossen is right about the DHCP and router comments.

Make sure your vtpro project name for the ipad matches exactly the filename in your device in simpl. And yes check that your CP3 is static IP.

Also, did you program the Crestron Mobile or the Crestron App? Crestron Mobile is for the Mobile Pro G app while the Crestron App is for the iPad Smart Graphics Crestron App. Completely different and not compatible.

ipad interface to control system via TCP/IP ( 1 and 2)
and i tried crestron mobile to, both are working when i directly upload the vtpro project to the ipad.

have the mobile pro g app installed on the ipad(no smart graphics :( -> would be cool if that workes or do i need to switch to crestron app?)

still get "platform not supported"! when i chance on mobile pro g the port to 8081 then "cant download manifest file" really stange.....

Something is still wrong then. I have plenty of iPads with both G and the new app working just fine.

You have the open ports in the router pointing to your new static IP of the CP3?

For the app to load, you only need to assign port A.

The CP3 should also have ports 41794 and 41795 opened as well.

The app works the same way wether you load it locally or to the processor. If the settings in the router were entered correctly for remote access it would work either way. Something in your port forwarding is wrong. Every port you need to have opened for the App needs to point at your CP3 IP address.

Is the webserver on the CP3 turned on?

You are also using the REALLY old SIMPL symbol.

For the PRO G app use "Crestron Mobile"

For the Smartgraphics app use "Crestron App"
