I am not sure if there is something to actually convert a .ir file to a ccf (i know there are .ccf files that convert to .ir). I have the Crestron file opened in DEAL for windows and I was wondering if there is a way. These are Anthem BLX-200 codes that I cant find anywhere else.

Hope someone can help or tell me there is no way before I give up hope and go home - still at the jobsite 8:30PM

Thanks

Pretty sure VERT goes both ways.

Why not just learn the codes from the factory remote?

Thanks so much, you didnt have to go and create that for me. (Wish I had seen it before I did!) I really appreciate you going the extra distance for me. This is great stuff, does it have a good track record of being correct?

THANKS AGAIN, great information and thanks for the extra work. Its nice to be in a business where you can learn something new every day and actually use it.

only took a couple mins... np

plus I wanted to make sure I was right. I've used Vert to cross drivers across AMX and crestron many times and never had a problem.

If VERT had not been available, a Crestron product that emits IR would have converted that file into learnable commands. That's cumbersome but would work.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Absolutely and would have done so but I had no Crestron remotes laying around - and I have to get that learner budgeted in...

while having the learner is great as you can test your code from the box, you can take a half step and buy an older pronto, marantz, yamah rav, or onkyo chad remote and shoot the code in and copy paste the ccf into DEAL.

There was no CCF. We were trying to convert an .irl file INTO a ccf. You can import a CCF hex listing into most automation programs anyway, and Crestron has it's own ccf to .irl program. We started with a non-standard .irl format and out goal was to get to a ccf just for the hex codes - not the other way around.
