Hi

Is anyone out there having a problem with the MUTE button on the newer Denon receivers?

ALL of the buttons work for me...except the mute. The mute button will "hang" after awhile. It will become unresponsive. The only fix is to reboot the AV2?

Thoughts?

Jonny

Are you using the RS-232 module or IP control? If so I had a similar situation with Marantz receivers using the Crestron module mute toggle command. I ended up using the discrete mute on and off commands from a toggle symbol and that solved my problem. If you are using a standard IR toggle mute command then I can't be sure what's going on there.

I have one project that the client has complained that it would stop working, but randomly start working again. The one time I went to check, it was working, but since has quit again.

I will look to see what mute command i'm using.

I second the Mute command issue...use the discrete Mute command only and attach the feedback to reflect that condition, i.e., that the Mute is high. The receiver will unmute whenever the VOL +/- is pressed auto-magically!
