Hi all,
I'm a new Prodigy dealer looking for help with some "advanced" programming.

I've setup a number of basic systems now and all is working well but I'm wanting to add some advanced functions such as using Xantech audio sensors to switch on an AVR, select an input and set a volume level; later looking at linking multiple PMC3's and other ideas.

If any CAIP's or other programmers are able to help out remotely with probably a few hours work please let me know. I've seen posts before about people looking for help with overflow work - is there a standard practice for doing this? (eg how do people arrange payment etc)

Kind regards,
David

(I wasn't sure if this should be in the "Job Marketplace" section as it would only be some occasional work, please let me know if it should and be I'll delete this post and re-post there)

What did you use to program your Prodigy systems with? If you used the Prodigy Wizard you're pretty much stuck. If you used SIMPL, it can be done.

Now if you want someone to program an entire system from scratch in SIMPL, that's much easier.

To start with I'm only after single room AV control, no lighting or a/c etc - only a few AV components with a PMC3 + PLX3.
I've been using composer so far and then making customizations in SB.

I haven't had any training in SIMPL yet (on a waitlist) but would be happy to pay someone to start from scratch in SIMPL\SB (whatever they prefer) after discussing the customizations I'm wanting which I don't think are straight forward in SB.
I so far have basic things like button mapping and page flips how I'd like - but using the 12v trigger and conditional functions is beyond me at this stage.

I'm guessing programming from scratch in SIMPL might be more than a few hours work - but that's fine if it will do what I'm wanting.

I guess first thing would be to know exactly what you're trying to do. Using input triggers to start a macro is pretty straight forward in both SB and SIMPL. Send me a PM with your system configuration and what you're hoping to do and I'll see if I can help you.
