System builder with CP2E Help?

Hey guys ,
Can anyone with Crestron system builder experience help me with this i just finish programming 2 PMC2+PLX2 and iPad for my home theater and family room few month back all are working good .and now i have CP2E that im trying to use for my bedroom and can figure out if i need one of the plugin for AUDIO & VIDEO connection( Input & Output ) or not .this is what i got for my bedroom :

SHARP TV
APPLE TV
SATELLITE
IPAD
CP2E

I know this is not DIY stuff but i like tinkering with my gears for fun i will really appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction ,i have all softwares in my laptop.

Not sure what PLUGIN you are referring to. One thing if you are programming in SystemBuilder is that the PRodigy system has a theater extender logic module that is used. This module only gets added with Prodigy Systems, so if you are using a CP2E you'll want to create global presets for all our switching and system on/off macros.

You have all you need.  CP2e and iPad...with your IR devices.  Should be a very easy SB project.
Let me know what help you might need.

Hi Tom ,
thanks for replying ,how do you start system builder for cp2e that include input and output for AV connection. this is where im having hard time to proceed ,if you can guide me in the right direction amd any other type you might have .

You don't assign AVR inputs on each source device like you do with a prodigy system on anything that isn't prodigy. The only way this would apply is if you have a Crestron Switch (swamp, pad8, amp-4x100).

You need to add your devices and then create your own macros for source selection of inputs and outputs. I do it as Global Presets and then reference them to the buttons as needed.

I will try that and report back ,this is where its getting confusing, i did find my way with prodigy so easily this is different ball game.
