Hey guys, trying to program the remote mode for a CLW-DIMEX-E and I can't figure out how to change the button layout layout from the default two button rocker to a 4 button layout. I've been searching through example programs but so far the only ones I have found that have this dimmer only have basic programming in them. Anybody know of any example programs that have the full programming of these dimmers? If not would anybody like to assist me on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

If you're using SIMPL you don't need to change anything it's all how you program it.

Thanks kgossen, yes I'm using SIMPL and I do know I need to do it through the programming. The problem I'm trying to figure out is the help file says the button layout signal needs a specific value, i.e. 1d, 2d etc to specify the specific button configuration. If i try to enter a 3d on the signal line the 3 turns into a underscore, and I'm assuming would cause a compile error anyways. My guess is the signal must need to connect to another symbol that has a analog input which lets you specify a value, just can't figure out which one. And as I said in my earlier post I can't seem to find any example programs that show how to do this.

When you install the dimmer is when you program the button layout. Look at the dimmer instructions that came with it.

Andrew, You cannot just put the 3d in the line for the analouge input. you will have to drive that with an analouge init. The init will have a digital signal comming in. a paramater for the 3d, and an analouge output to connect to the dimmer analouge input. you can drive the digital with a 1.

The dimmer doesn't have an analog input only an output. The only way to set it is when you install it. You then set how many buttons you're using.
