Hey guys I'm trying to slowly build my skills with SIMPL by programming the few products I have at home. Currently I am trying to program a CEN-IDOCV, but I can't figure out how to sync it with my MC3. I connected to it with usb as the instructions said and set up the IP table with IP ID 4, IP address 127.000.000.001, with the pull down set to master and the port number set to 41794. Also set up the IP table of the MC3 to match but with the pull down set to slave. Download the project and nothing works. I then reopened the CEN-IDOCV in toolbox and noticed that in the IP table under status it says offline.
Just to see what would happen i created a quick program in Systembuilder and evrything works fine. Opened up toolbox again and sure enough in the IP table under status it now said online. So my question, is there something else I need to do besides setting up the IP tables, to get the dock online with my SIMPL program? Thanks in advance for any help. Andrew

In Toolbox Device Discovery Tool what does it say for IP address for the IDOCV? It needs to have it's own. Set it to an address for your system,(192.168.1.40 for example) make sure it's static so the MC3 can always find it, under the IP Table set it to IP ID 4 and either your MC3's hostname or actual IP address. In SIMPL set the Ethernet Upload address to the IP address of the IDOCV and the IP Net address should be 127.000.000.1

Thanks kgossen, I had pretty much that whole list already done. My mistake was under the IDOC's IP table I had the IP address set to 127.000.000.001 instead of the MC3's IP address. Fixed that and everything seems to be working now. Thanks again for the help.
