I found it. It was in a cupboard in the meeting room. It's an NI-2100.

The touch panel file is stored on the touch panel itself and not the processor. You can extract a touch panel file from an AMX NXT-CV7 touch panel using TPDesign4. You do not have to connect to the processor to do this.
With regard to the code, you will not be able to extract the code from the processor without Netlinx Studio. Even if you have Netlinx Studio there is no guarantee the source code was uploaded when the compiled code was loaded on the processor. If it was, then you may be able to get it or you will find out that it was password protected.
Either way you will need Netlinx Studio in addition to TPDesign4 if you really want to redesign how the interface functions and the program works.

TPD4 will only allow you to change the graphics on the panel. You should be able to extract the panel file without a problem.
However, to change the logic/programming you will need NetLinx Studio and you will need to know how to program in C++ as this is the language that NetLinx/AMX programming is based on. The programming may or may not be available for extraction based on how the original programmer sent it to the processor. NetLinx Studio is a protected program that is only available to dealers.
