Got an Escient E120 I am trying to control. Have the module from Escient and I made it SystemBuilder friendly (or so I thought). Everything compiles and uploads, but I get no control of the Escient. In real-time, I see the commands being sent, but I see nothing from the Escient.

It is hooked up to the network, but my module is RS232. I don't see how to make it an IP module instead. My only choices in system builder are 232 or IR.

It's crazy. In real-time, I can see the feedback of current artist coming back, but nothing shows up on the touchpanels.

Anything I can sell to him to replace this decade old unit that works more reliably? Or at least that I can control reliably. Only problem is the customer hates i-Devices. It also has to be SB friendly as everything else is already done in the SB Program.

HOLY SCHNIKES. I am a royal duma$$. Finally got this figured out and working.

My Virtual Serial Driver on the Escient Module had my TX and RX backwards. Never have I been so close to shooting myself, and it ends up being my stupid fault for being in too big of a hurry. Holy cow what a nightmare waste of 24 hours. I think we are done on Crestron takeovers. They always seem to turn out to be ridiculous., although admittedly this one is definitely my fault. Really tired of working on this used equipment that's shelf life expired a few years ago.

Don't even get me started on the guys doorbell fon which the button was being held in place with electrical tape. He DID NOT want to buy a new one. I said, I can troubleshoot this thing for $100 an hour or you can spend $200 and buy a brand new one. He still had to think about it. I just don't understand people sometimes.

Glad you got it figured out. I did that once with my own module. Took me a while to figure it out.

Took me a while too. Until I thought to look at real-time and saw the feedback coming across, just marked as TO DEVICE instead of FROM.
