I am working on a system with a PAD8. Putting the system in a moveable rack and re-wiring it. I get everything plugged in and powered and the NET light on the PAD8 is constant. It is being powered from a C2N-HBLOCK. The three lights on the HBLOCK are solid also. Should the PAD8 have a constant orange NET light? The rooms seem to work. Is this a problem?
To be honest, I've only done a few PAD8's and never noticed the NET light before so I would guess that it isn't supposed to be always on.

I believe it's always lit. Just lets you know that you are connected to Cresnet and your address is verified.

The other crestron items have the NET unlit.
I was just checking, it seemed weird.

If everything is working, don't worry about the net light.
The behavior is dependent on any number of factors.
Some devices will flash others it is steady.
Its more important that it does either.
If there is no light then you will have a real problem for sure.

Just saw this post....and yes, PAD8 Net light remains lit solid all of the time while it is connected and the processor is running.
