Any of you guys successfuly dimming 110V LED loads with the Crestron dimmers? I spoke to someone in the design department and he told me that it can depend on the fixture whether or not it is successful.

I wouldn't say it's the fixture that would make it work. Crestron simply doesn't make a wall box dimmer made for dimming LED loads. That's the bottom line.

That's just a list of expensive LED lights. Throw some dimmable LED replacements into the equation and watch what happens. They really need to start testing LED replacement lamps as well. It's the most cost effective way to use LED lamps. I can't justify a 200 dollar fixture when you can purchase a replacement lamp for 30 dollars.

We've been testing several brands with wall box dimmers and the only effective dimmers that work are the Lutron CL dimmers. Switches with LED's inside them seam to create havoc on the dimmed load.

Most dimmer require a minium load of about 40W to make them work corretly, LED are only 3W or 7W each, so you can see the problem. if your using electronic transformers just test a few to see which ones work i found one here that i can dim down to 2% without flickering..

Just watch out for the Lutron GrafikIntegrale.... They are supposed to be able to dim LED loads but all they do is flicker. The Grafik 3504's never last me longer than 1 year before failing. I haven't found them for less than €850 I piece either.
