Anything new on the Prodigy front? Any news about new remotes? Or something about those HDMI distribution pieces they've been showing for 2 years?

Rest? As in dead? I hope not.

They really could have crushed everyone. I can't understand the release of the line when it seems like everyone at Crestron hates Prodigy. I love their iPad/iPhone solution. I wish they'd do something with it and not let it languish on the shelf.

I moved away from prodigy when all this stuff started changing. Moved my prodigy jobs to RTI.

RTI-low to Mid scale job
Full Crestron- hi end
URC- use if it's a last resort to hit a price point.

Does anyone has any update in regards to the future of Prodigy? Is it a line that Crestron will continue and carry and therefore will enhance or is it pretty much dead and it is time to look for a replacement for low-mid end market

Crestron moved Prodigy to distribution last year. Unless you have an existing project you should look elsewhere for that market. They do have full line components that are basically the same product as the Prodigy but they are Crestron parts.

I have asked many times and this is what I believe; If you were direct with Prodigy, you can go back and order directly from Crestron. I just ordered some dimmers yesterday.

I have stock, but haven't installed a new Prodigy system in more than a year. We have installed full Crestron systems. I really liked the line, and our existing systems are working very well.

It is very strange, but I would guess that the XP processor was so good that it was eating into their full-line products. Only a guess.

The XP processor is basically the MC3.
