Can someone give me the quick explanation of how a camera gets on a TPS-2000L without using the videoencoder?

Got a potential client with a CP2E, PAD8A, Amps, Escient E120, and DishNetwork receivers.

Now, on the 2 TPS-2000L's he has in the home, he is currently getting a camera feed to the panel and a dishnet feed to the panel. How are these 2 different sources getting routed to the panel? I thought it only had 1 video input? Obviously an older system, but they want to add some more cameras. Wanting to see if this is possible and how I can go about it the easiest way (adding 2-3 more cameras to the touchpanel). Money not really a huge option.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide. I much prefer this forum to the yahoo group.

Edited to add:

I just notice the system has a SIMA SVS-4D from my notes. I assume the camera and DishNetwork are going into this and being switched by the processor based on button presses on the touchpanel. I haven't turned the rack around yet, it will be impossible to do so without everything coming apart and requiring a rebuild. Its a huge rats nest.

So new question, I'm playing around with this in system builder right now, how do I add the video window. I see in VTPro drawing the video window but I'm ignorant on how to get the image to display. Obviously this is a older touchscreen which I havent had the pleasure to learn the ins and outs of yet. Luckily this is a Time & Materials job.

On a different yet related topic, what IP cameras work well with Mobile Pro G without a lot of headaches?

You need to use the CEN-NVS200 to send video to a Mobile Pro G interface.

I am going to assume that you will be using some kind of DVR so whatever camera/DVR combination you use along with the NVS200 should do the trick.
You can't fix stupid

From what other research I've done, I can do this with just an MJPEG stream. Doesn't necessarily have to come from the NVS200. I plan on using a Axis 4 channel one. Correct me if you know something I don't. This is getting into new but exiting territory for us.
