Is it possible to support a new device? Like have a CAIP develop a script so I can use something that isnt supported, will Prodigy do this or are they a little more closed than a standard Crestron Pro 2.

Do you mean create a module that is prodigy composer compatible? What do you need to add?
I believe that you still have the capabilities to create a simpl or simpl+ module and insert it into a Prodigy system providing you have followed the steps crestron has laid out.
