Anyone know if the Prodigy thermostat can be used for a geothermal system requiring 3 stage heating and two stage cooling? Don't know what that means but the HVAC company tells me that is what's required.

The not yet available P-TSTATEX may.

The P-TSATEX is the upgrade to the existing Prodigy thermostat. Outfitted with new wireless technology, the P-TSTATEX connects directly to the PMC2, PMC3 or PMC3-XP. Control climate set points and schedules from any Prodigy touchpanel, handheld remote, PC, Mac or mobile device running Crestron Mobile Pro®.

New features include support for multi-stage heating and cooling systems, as well as remote temperature sensors. Remote sensors provide a way to average temperature readings from different areas in the same zone to achieve a more even climate.
