I have a Prodigy customer that currently has some DIM-RF lighting installed. They want to add more lighting now. Am I free to add DIMEX lighting to the system if they already have the RF lighting and not have to replace the RF lighting?

You've upgraded the firmware to gain access to the EX gateway you should be good to go. I haven't seen anything that said the two cant work together.
