Took a crestron course a year or so ago (not sure the name), first two days was an overview and the next three days were programming in Simpl and VTpro.
In the in term i was using systembuilder but i have really noticed its limitations and want to get back into simpl programming. I am taking holidays between xmas and the new year and i have a bunch of inventory that i can program on. So my quesiton is where can i find some good literature to refresh my memory on this stuff.
Looked on crestron web page but cant find.

thanks in advanced
Thanks

The online trainings of Simpl seem non-existant, as if they pretty much want you physically show up at a Crestron training center to learn it - which is probably a good thing, and i cant blame them.
I too need a course or three in Simpl.

I don't know if they still hand it out in the entry-level classes or not, but Crestron has a document called "Simpl Windows Primer". It's available somewhere on their website - if you can't find it, ask your sales rep, or email tech support or CTI.

In addition to that, checkout the Yahoo Crestron Programmers Group. In that group's Files area, there's a document called "Crestron Programming Workshop" which is a very informative tutorial. It's old, and a lot of the information is out-dated, but many of the core principles and procedures are still valid.

Tony, are you talking about the "Crestron Programming Cookbook" by David Webster?
