Hey guys,

I ben dealing with a prodigy system for a month, then issue is that you press media > Cable Box. all the steps goes good, then few minutes later the TV and Receiver goes off, I open Debugger, and I watch those signals goes high, Crestron Support gave me Support but dint find answers only to go back to previous back ups, but the problem persist. Got tire and called Avadfor the option that the PMC2 might be damage or weird, but the guy told me: when you are in the Finish tab ddid any time you Press Update instead of Build? and I answer yes but only in the beginning. Then he said : that might be your problem, I was told from Crestron that button causes weird behaviors and that might be your problem, go and start the program from scratch and see if that keeps happening.

So after all the story, you guys had a problem like this??

I don't think he meant start completely from scratch but to start as a BUILD again. It is possible that in an UPDATE something screwed up and rebuilding would probably fix it and you could use update from then on.

I use UPDATE all the time and don't have issues, but I have had to use BUILD halfway through a project before. If you aren't doing any customization, there isn't any harm in doing so, it just takes more time than an update.

do wino hue?

Also, if you've updated this particular program a lot, it wouldn't hurt to toolbox into the processor and clear the memory then build and upload again. I like to do that if I've done more than a few updates to a program. May not help at all, but I tend to sleep better at night because of it
