Just messing with D3 for the first time on our demo system. I am a long time Lutron programmer.
Just curious... is there a way to group switches either in properties or visually within the program to represent multiple gangs? I would think this would be an obvious feature especially for larger installations to help organize the actual layout.

I don't think that is an option due to the fact that each keypad is a different device. Although you can place them into the same room I don't believe you can view/program them at the same time (I don't have D3 in front of me but I am 90% sure it is not possible).

This is one feature Lutron has. It just makes sense to see visually which devices are physically grouped for testing and service of large systems.
Anyone have advice on the aquire and verification process? It seems inconsistent. I may make a specific post for this.
Thanks!

The only way to group them is to make each bank of dimmers a seperate room. Then I label them A,B,C,D ect to make it clear whick location in the bank it is.

It gets even trickier to group them to indicate ganging locations in Simpl without long text strings.
