You cant spec product that doesn't exist or that just got released. I don't care if its Crestron, Control4 or the company providing you with compression fittings.

Our industry is NOTORIOUS for shipping unfinished products. It always has been. We learned our lesson big time with Phast and every once in a while we forget and get bit in the ass again. Each time it reinforces the rule.

opened the box today...
its cute .. i still have high hopes for it,
I'm just pissed they released it this way.

I'm going to use it on a few small systems and see how far i can stretch its use until we get real programming.

i like the scroll wheel and the screen.
i dislike the thickness from the 4* AA battery compartment.

Does it feel more durable than the ptx3? I like the ptx3 for what it is, but for kids its bound to break early.

Much more durable when compared. Fairly durable in general. Still breakable.

So when you say this cannot be programmed do you mean buttons can't be added or altered? No customization whatsoever?

You should say ESPECIALLY if its Crestron. Vary rarely is something they release ready for prime time running on the first few firmwares.
