Any suggestions on the best way to make this work for a client's landscape lighting?

Altronix makes really good low voltage to high current relays for this kind of application.

Please describe your lighting more, I have a client interested in controlling his landscape lighting. I was just going to use prodigy switches but haven't put much thought into it yet.

Lighting is controlled by two exterior mounted transformers (600 watts each). The challenge is that this is a brick home and there are no control wires run to the transformers. They simply plug into exterior outlets and are hidden behind landscaping.

Use the p-lswex if you can put it in a weather proof box

Was thinking about that but the operating temperature range of 32-104 degrees concerns me a bit. Anyone have experience using it outside that range? We would put it in a weatherproof enclosure.

Should work fine for that temp zone. So long as you don't go below freezing for along period of time.

That zone is what is listed in the Crestron specs. We are not in an extremely cold part of the country, but it certainly gets below freezing often in the winter.

I've got Lutron switches on exterior porch's in upstate NY that work with no problem. These are 3 season rooms. No heat except a fire place. They work with no problems. It gets very very cold here. Don't think you would have a problem with a Prodigy switch.
