We are designing a system and the client really likes using the orignal remotes and we want to know if the client uses the ir remote on a tivo and presses the tivo button . Will the tivo ip driver send out the info to the crestron proccessor. And if it gets the info can we have it trigger a macro.

you will need a two way ip driver for the tivo that gives feedback that the tivo button has been pressed
basically you need to find an IP driver or the API for the tivo to find out if this is possible
doesn't sound like something a normal ip driver would have or need though, so that might be a little rough

assuming Tivo has an IP interface for control (did you look that up already?) connect to it with telnet or another tool, and see what happens when you use the ir remote.
