The P-CBDEX is not listed as having a backlight on the new spec sheet. Someone told one of my clients that they should go with Lutron because the new Prodigy keypad will have a led light, but no backlight. This cant be right.......can it?

That is correct the Lutron RadioRa2 keypads are backlit and also have the LEDs, the Prodigy P-CBDEX or any of the Prodigy switches for that matter only have the green LEDs and are NOT backlit.

I was shown the P-CBD-6 and it had a backlight, what happened? The lutron rep will love this little bit of news. " Crestron is a nice product....... if you can find the keypad after dark?" :) I can see her grin now.

Yeah the Lutron keypads are really nice the backlit keypads look really elegant. I attended the Lutron B.L.A.S.T Training yesterday and the RadioRa2 system, software and price points are nice. You can also have up to 10 iPods or iPads on the system...once you download the free ipod app and assign it to the network it will automatically program itself to each of the keypads including button layouts for each keypad in the system, the iPad app is $20.00 but it is worth it extremely nice.

They also have written all of the modules for Crestron in System Builder and SIMPL they stated even though Crestron decided not to advertise Lutron products in favor of there own line Lutron will always support Crestron 100%.
