My one year old slobbered my Insignia NS-30HTV remote forcing me to purchase a Universal replacement. I picked the One for All URC-4220 because as the packaging plainly states, Gauranteed to work with all brands, cough cough B*LLSH#t. I've researched this and cannot find a working solution. The 1204 code listed for insignia in the one for all guide does nothing. 0436 for sansui does enable some of the buttons however their functions don't match their intended purpose, ie. the volume button enables a channel search and the power button will toggle the sound settings. It is late and I have yet to call either company involved for fear of hold hell. Does anyone happen to know the code offhand?

The insignia site has a master sheet with 5 different brands of Universals. (I recently purchased an Insignia (different model) and was searching).
According to their matrix. The code is 0463 (you have 0436 in your original email).
If your remote does not have this code, to honor the guarantee, you have to send it in.
Good luck. I will be submitting the Insignia Matrix to Daniel Tonks if he wants to post it in the files section. (It specifically mentions your Insignia model). Good luck.
