I just bought this TV and it's not on the MX3000 Remote Library. Is there a way to update the MX3000 library in case they now have this remote? If not, does anyone know what other Pioneer remote would work with this TV?

Thanks,
Joe.

The code sets are the same for the new pioneers TV's, so you can use the PDP6070HD codes. The only things that won't be there are the additional inputs on the 6010, but you can learn the discrete codes right from the new Pioneer remote.

Thanks Art. I'll definitely try it.

You can use the PDP-5080HD MXF file at pioneerelectronics.com / Support / Home Electronics / Custom Install. It has all the new Inputs.

Thanks for the advice. I downloaded the MXF file into the MX3000 RC folder. However, I'm not sure how to use the MXF file and make the IR codes available. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks again.

You need to open the file using the editor's Universal Browser. From there, you can drag and drop the codes as you wish.
