My new Yamaha RX-V661 Receiver is not listed in the MX-900 editor database.
The software Editor has a Database 1.80, Firmware 1.47
Is ther a newer database I nned to download?
Sorry Iam a newbie searched but did not find this model

Yamaha doesn't change the IR codes from model to model. You can use any current Yamaha codes that have the buttons you need.

I also have an MX-900 and RX-661 Receiver and can confirm, as OEX has noted, that the RX-659 files work.

All of the NEW Yamaha components use the NEC IR protocal. The RX-V??1 series receivers are in the database.
