Hey all,

In developing my rcc file I am trying to use dynamic buttons and variables to determine what is shown on a device page. I have 4 groups of buttons on 1 device page. The 0 state of all the buttons has the background set to "hidden" and the 1 state has the background set to normal. All the buttons are dynamic and each group is associated to a variable. Only 1 variable can every be set to 1. So, if variable 1 is set to 1, button group 1 should appear, if variable 2 is set to 1, button group 2 should appear, etc. This works very well, except for the fact that any time I push a button from say group 1, all the other buttons from groups 2-4 temporarily appear then dissapear. Is this just a limitation of the emulator or is this how the real remote will react?

I'm sure I haven't been very clear but I have an rcc file demonstrating this behavior if anyone would like me to send them a copy.

Thanks,

Russell

I believe that there is no way not to see the after image of the button. You can use that same variable to control page jumps and put those buttons on other device pages.

I sent an example to your e-mail

Hope this helps,
Ken
