Sorry, but I don't understand the question. Could you be more specific as to the remote you're using, the device and what exactly you're trying to achieve?

Most devices do not have a discrete mute on and mute off function. You can use the anchor method in a macro.

To mute:
Volume +
Volume -
Mute

To unmute:
Volume +
Volume -

Great thing about the Yamahas is discretes. There's practically a discrete for everything.

Pioneer too! Mute On/Off or Mute On - Mute Off.
Plenty of discretes for most receivers.
They call me the "Thread Killer". Just watch!
