Do you get the same range as the MRF-250, or none at all?

Thanks

I think I tried that when I had the MRF-300 and I believe the answer is none.

There is no antenna in the MRF-300, so without the RFX-150 or 250, it receives nothing. That's also what enables you to place it right next to a component that would otherwise cause RF interference.
